Before dispatch
Cancel freely, for any reason, at no cost. Use the cancel button on the order in your account, or WhatsApp the order number.
Anything cancelled before the parcel is handed to the courier is refunded in full, including shipping, within 48 hours.
The cut-off
Orders placed before 4 pm IST on a working day leave the same evening. That evening handover is the cut-off.
Your dispatch email is the marker: if you have received it, the parcel is already with the courier and the order can no longer be cancelled — but it can be returned.
After dispatch
- Refuse the parcel at the door and it comes straight back to Bagru. You are refunded in full on receipt.
- Or accept it and start a return within seven days under the Return & Refund Policy — free reverse pickup, no deductions.
- Either route costs you nothing.
Custom cuts
Lengths above 3.5 m are cut from the bolt specifically for your order, which cannot be undone.
These can be cancelled within four hours of the order, before cutting begins. After that they are final sale. We flag this clearly before you confirm a custom cut.
Cancellations by us
Occasionally we cancel an order — a dye lot sold out between your checkout and our packing, the last length failed final inspection, or the address falls outside our courier network.
You are told the same day, refunded in full within 48 hours, and offered first refusal on the next lot of that motif.
We do not cancel orders because a price was more favourable to you than we intended, except in the case of an obvious listing error, where we contact you first.
Refund timelines
| Payment method | Refund route | Time from cancellation |
|---|---|---|
| UPI | Same UPI handle | 1 – 2 working days |
| Credit / debit card | Original card | 3 – 5 working days |
| Net banking | Source bank account | 3 – 5 working days |
| Cash on delivery | Nothing to refund — no payment taken | — |
Repeated COD cancellations
Cash on delivery costs us the full round trip when a parcel is refused. We absorb that happily once or twice.
If an account refuses three COD orders in a row we ask for prepayment on the next one. It is not a penalty and there is no charge — just a limit on how much a small unit can absorb.
